Cream Cheese Pound Cake
1 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
3 stick butter (24 tablespoons)
3 cups of sugar
6 eggs at room temperature
3 cups cake flour, sifted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Do not preheat oven.
Grease and flour a tube pan.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy. Add the sugar, beating slowly. Add the eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and beat well.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake at 300 degrees for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Do not open door of oven during baking.
